Welcome to Madeira Camper rental. By using our website and booking a campervan, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Payment
The rental price is calculated based on the campervan selected, the rental period, and any additional services or extras chosen during booking.

Payments must be made in full at the time of booking to secure the reservation. We accept payments via our payment partner, Stripe.

A security deposit may be held until the campervan is returned in the same condition as at the time of pickup.


2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the rental start date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the rental start date are non-refundable.

In case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure), please contact our support team for assistance.


3. Insurance and Damage Liability
All rentals include basic insurance coverage as required by Portuguese law. Additional insurance options may be available at an extra cost.

A security deposit of €1000 will be pre-authorized (not charged) on the renter's payment method at the time of booking. This amount will be held until the campervan is returned in the same condition as at the time of pickup.

If the campervan is returned without any damage, the pre-authorization hold will be released. In the event of damage, the held amount may be used to cover repair costs, up to the pre-authorized limit.


4. Vehicle Pickup and Return
Campervans must be picked up and returned at the agreed location and time. Delays may incur additional charges.

The renter is responsible for inspecting the vehicle at pickup and reporting any issues immediately. Any damage noted upon return that was not reported at pickup will be considered the renter’s responsibility.


5. Use of Vehicle
The campervan must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with all applicable Portuguese traffic laws and regulations.

The renter must ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition and returned clean. Failure to do so may result in additional cleaning fees.


6. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. By using our services, you agree to our data collection practices as outlined in our.

Personal data collected during the booking process is used solely for managing your reservation and will not be shared with third parties except for payment processing and legal compliance.


7. Liability and Dispute Resolution
We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the rental period unless due to our own negligence or breach of duty.

Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be resolved in accordance with Portuguese law and under the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.


8. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is the responsibility of the renter to review them periodically.
